They are not that old and there is only one 'can't read' photo which I haven't included in the album. It was one of the Priest's stones and if anyone is ever interested in trying to find out who he was, then feel free to contact me and I can send you a copy of the photo.

I didn't take any photos of the surrounding area because it was raining so much when I was that day in November and the light was beginning to fade

Clare...........

On the road to I don't know where - but it's nice, somewhere coming from Cloonlara, maybe oing to Broadford - or was Bodyke the next place I got to.

I can't remember - what I do remember though is that this church and graveyard are up one of these small roads off the real road going to where-ever I was on my way to. No map in hand, I was just following my nose so to speak trying to remember how it was or where I was supposed to go through to get to Tulla in Co. Clare and then I wanted to go on to Galway.

The only thing was, the weather was against me. There were hills all round the scenery was nice........trees, hills - pony walking along by a stream. The signpost for Kilbane is broken in half, not only that it kind of points the wrong way!!

Doesn't matter I guess, I found it and here it is. All the gravestones in this graveyard have been photographed except for a handful which are obviously the most recent. The rain was coming down nice and steady, it wasn't even the misty kind it was the make you very wet kind.

The Holy Water container was interesting, I've never seen something like this before. The church stands on it's own...I took a photo of a boarded up deserted house which looks down on the church.

The graveyard isn't too big, and even though it was raining it wasn't as cold as it came to be a few days later. I was at this graveyard sometime around 1pm so it wasn't too dark either even though the sky was dark with the clouds.

A few photos here and the rest are loaded to the album.
